Kaum glaubt man sein System so einigermassen auf Vordermann zu haben, muss es sich auch schon bewähren. ich hatte diese Nacht einen Load >70 und >700 Prozesse. Nun bin ich am
untersuchen was das Problem gewesen sein könnte.
Ich musste per rescue system reingehen, fail2ban und teamspeak
abschalten, damit ich dann in den Server rein kam, das nebenbei.
Da eigentliche Problem sind Fehlermeldungen in Messages, die auf
Schnittstellen- und oder Harddiskprobleme deuten.
Ich erspare mir das ausführliche Posten, hier nur ein Auschnitt:

Das ist keineswegs alles, es setzt sich noch eine ganze Weile so fort,
dann gibt es ein OK, Softraid beginnt mit dem Update, dann Stunden
später sind beide sda und sdb wieder in sync, das IOWait nimmt wieder
ab. Doch wenig später kam es erneut zu ähnlichen Fehlern, heute Mittag
auch schon wieder.
Ich habe auf beiden Laufwerken smartctl -t /dev/sdX gemacht.
Lt. smartctl -H /dev/sdX sind beide Lfw OK
doch smart -a /dev/sdX sagt, die Laufwerke würden kein smart unterstützen...
Ich benutze die cvs Version von smartmontools.
Während ich das tippe ist mittlerweile ein neuer Fehler aufgetaucht,
meine sdb ist defekt.
